- CREATION

        The construction of the first brigade of State police to AUMETZ starts in 1937 and won't be finished and efficient that in 1955.

        The present building is occupied since March 1981. It is the property of the O.P.A.C. of the Moselle.

        - GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION

        The brigade of AUMETZ is located on the of Lorraine tray, to the crossing of three important roads,: the CD 952 (national elder 521) - the CD 906 going against the Meurthe and Moselle and the CD 16 going against Luxemburg by AUDUN THE TICHE. It is to 10 kilometers of border luxembourgeoise.

        - EFFICIENT and MISSIONS

        The brigade is the present strength of an adjutant and 5 policemen's. (real picture: 1 adjutant - 1 MDL/C and 4 policemen)

        These missions are those dévolues to the State police implanted in farming zone.

        - DEGREE OF ACTIVITY

        Strong enough judicial Activity of the fact of the roving delinquency.

        Road Traffic importing by reason of the proximity of the big Duchy of Luxemburg where works many border.

        - CIRCUMSCRIPTION

        Implantée in farming zone and on the old mining sector, the brigade of AUMETZ is competent on three townships and three hamlets connected:

        AUMETZ - BOULANGE and its hamlet of Bassompierre - TRESSANGES and its hamlets of Bure and Ludelanges.

        On a surface of 32 km²s, it counts a population of 5988 Souls.

        - COMFORTS TO PROXIMITY

        Scolaire: maternal school, primary schools and college. It doesn't exist high school and studies must be pursued to THIONVILLE.

        Trades: the small trade of proximity is represented well except with regard to the feeding or it only exists suited only one big surface to about one kilometer of the brigade. For the more important needs it is necessary to depend on THIONVILLE or HAYANGE.
