- The brigade of FONTOY is in border of the freeway A30 joining METZ to LONGWY. A direct exit of freeway permits to reach in the locality of FONTOY. This last is a small township of 3200 inhabitants. This township is to 15 kilometers of THIONVILLE and 38 kilometers of METZ.

        - The building of the brigade has been constructed in 1980 by the O.P.A.C. of the Moselle of METZ. It understands a ground floor and a floor containing 6 lodgings, either 3 F4 of 80 m² and 3 F5 of 100 m².

        - The strength is 6 soldieries: 1 adjudant, 1 MDL/C and 4 policemen. They assure the surveillance on four townships: FONTOY - ANGEVILLERS - LOMMERANGE and HAVANGE representing a population of 5020 inhabitants. Numerous mining cities are even present on FONTOY and ANGEVILLERS and are occupied for the most by the Italian and from the Maghreb. Of night, the unit is working with the B.T. of HAYANGE and of MOYEUVRE-GRANDE.

        - The activity of the unit is the one of a normal unit of a strength of 6. The personnel of the brigade is brought to very often adjust disputes of neighborhood. It also intervenes to note flights mainly to the trailer, burglaries, strokes and injuries and do services of police of the road. About 160 crimes and offenses are noted on average per year. It manages on its circumscription the presence of nomad camps.

        - The setting of life is pleasant since we find to FONTOY for the education of children : two maternal schools, one primary school and a college. For cares: 4 physicians, three dentists and a pharmacy. For the bursary: 1 supermarket " SUPER U ", 2 tobacco, 4 bakers, a grocery store, 1 restaurant and 5 coffees. For finances: 3 banks, 1 station and a perception.

        - On the township of LOMMERANGE is implanted a track of karting where the renting is possible. On the other hand, competitions of go-carts take place 6 times in the year.
